emptygalaxy asked:hi :) i've been following your photography for awhile now, and absolutely love it! I was just wondering if you had any recommendations/suggestions of equipment that would benefit outdoor portrait photography? e.g. for fashion? thank you !

a 50mm lens with wide aperture such as 1.8 or 1.4 would be really beneficial for portraits! :)

Anonymous asked:Hi! I am a huge fan of your wedding photography works. Just curious, what lense do you use when the actual wedding ceremony is going? It will mean so much to me. Thanks!

the 70-200mm is my go to lens during most of the ceremonies I shoot :)

Anonymous asked:Hi Jenny from Minnesota, USA. I have been following the works that you do and absolutely love how you program classes to teach others and the passion you have for capturing moments behind the camera. I, myself love to travel too. One day, I hope to attend one of your class when I can financially afford it. You have been an inspiration. I am going to invest in my first professional digital camera. Do you have any advice on what type of cameras is good for a beginner? Or where do I start? Thanks!

The canon 60D or equivalent is a good starting camera if you are just wanting to play with the camera as a hobby to begin with :)

Love is not about finding the right partner. It is about being the right partner. There is no single person on this earth, that will perfectly complement you. In fact, over time, once the fairy dust settles from our eyes (and it will… statistics say it settles anywhere between 3 months to 3 years), we will see more and more flaws and imperfections.
The sad thing is, the majority of people allow these imperfections to grow holes between two people that become almost impossible to mend and that is how people walk away from each other. It breaks my heart, because so many fall into the trap of focusing on the other’s faults, and also thinking - why aren’t they loving ME, why can’t they give ME what I want, why can’t they see that this is important to ME….And I will admit, I fell into this trap too. It is part of why my own marriage almost fell apart 3 years ago. It wasn’t until God, friends and family around me taught me to look at myself. To look at my own flaws. To see my own shortfalls that were causing hurt in the marriage…. and learn to become a wife worth loving. Instead of fighting and demanding of love MY way from my husband, it was about learning to be a woman beautiful on the inside, and to be what HE needed and wanted…. and the result? Ironically, it wasn’t that my husband took advantage of that (my fear was that if I gave in first, he would walk all over me and I’d never be loved back), instead it allowed his heart to soften, and open up a space to want to love me back the way I wanted. Of course, we are still learning :) So lovers out there….Lean on each other’s strengths, and forgive each other’s weaknesses…And never forget that the best marriages are the ones who choose to love one another even on days where they struggle to like one another…more relationships might actually survive the long haul, if they remembered that real love is more than a feeling - it is an action, and it is a commitment…a commitment to each other past temporal and always changing feelings, and to always work on yourself first to be the right partner.

A typical #autumn outfit that I’ve been wearing out to all these shoots lately….#denimshirt with a white tank, paired with black #leggings and my current #brownleatherboots (which I know need some serious cleaning haha 😅)… On another note, I loooooooove #autumn so much. It’s probably my favourite season all year round. Just look at these colours!! 😍😍😍

May is the start of so many good things to come… A lot more time off from shoots, meaning more family/home time, my birthday, getaway with the hubby, etc…. So, even though may doesn’t start til tomorrow, the sister in law and I decided to wake up at the crack of dawn to go to the #sydneyflowermarket and treat ourselves to some birthday blooms since we are both may babies and our birthdays are just days apart 😊… This is what we found… I take it as a sign of good things coming when you find #pink #peonies this gorgeous 5 months out of season 😄 Thank you God for the special little blessing. We couldn’t be happier! Now it’s off to a shoot for me….last one this month! 😁 #flowers #flowerarrangement #floralarrangements #floraldecoration #vscocam

#breakfast at a cool and sweet little joint not far from home. Great #coffee, kitchen menu (pictured here is their amazing pork/fennel/provolone #sausageroll … Yummoooo!!)… Not pictured here are the incredible gelato flavours In the cafe, and the 3 box loads of pastries and cakes that I walked out with (they give Adriano Zumbos a run for his money :p) for my family! 🍰 #dolcettini #dolcettinicafe #dolcettinipatisserie #dolcettinidural #jennysuneats

Love this accidental location find as I was on my way to breakfast after another 5am sunrise session today… #Autumn in #Sydney can be really gorgeous if you can put up with the never predictable weather 😍 #fallseason #vscocam #jsp #jennysun #jennysunphotography
